Chinese New Year Banquet # 2. I run out of time to draw the pig on the menu and guest volunteered. “I can draw a pig for you!” This pig made me so happy. We actually had 8 courses+2 desserts. Shamefully I forgot to write down the two most important dishes: dumpling and lamb. Both are almost a must for Chinese New Year banquet. The poppies are from a friend’s garden. When he asked “what can we bring?” “Can you bring some flower from your garden.”
Everyone brought something. Each is a small surprise in some way thus made it a “present”.
